Really cute love story. Both Samantha and Riordan.are such pleasant characters. The story line was simple and nothing out of the ordinary, but it's the kind of story that leaves you with a smile on your face.

Samantha is on a mission to Ireland. She tries to find her grandmother's lost necklace, necklace that was buried under a tree by a very young Gram. Finding the necklace was her grandmother's only wish and Sam tries to accomplish Gram's goal. Not only the piece of jewelry is important, but Sam also tries to find her roots .

Now the current homeowner of grandma's house is Riordan Faraday, a morosely painter who shuts Sam down from the start. So our hero's only option is to dig the backyard at night. Of course, she gets caught but that doesn't put an end o her actions. Sam is very stubborn , persistent and she easily accepts when Riordan asked her to accompany his mother in different activities. And from this point things start to evolve. 

But Riordan is ...difficult to deal with.  He strongly believes that nothing comes for free. Not even love and affection..
